Double-blind study
Double-blind study confirms the effectiveness of the QuintBox
Holopathy has succeeded in realizing a long-held goal of many energy medicine approaches – namely, proof of efficacy according to the "gold standard" of conventional medicine: a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study. The study was conducted using the QuintBox product.
The setting: double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized
The study's lead researcher, Dr. Reinhold Jagsch (University of Vienna, Faculty of Psychology, Department of Clinical and Health Psychology), recruited a homogeneous group of 120 participants, representing the entire spectrum of the healthy adult population (no mental disorders, no serious health problems or illnesses).
The participants were randomly assigned to three groups. One group received "real" QuintBoxes, another received placebo devices—QuincBoxes that looked and behaved exactly like the real ones but emitted no signal. The third group received no boxes and thus remained untreated. Naturally, neither the researcher nor the participants knew which group received the real QuintBoxes and which received the placebo QuintBoxes.
Participants were instructed to wear the QuintBox on their person for at least 10 hours a day during the four-week study period (e.g., as a necklace or in a pocket).
The various disciplines of energy medicine in Germany and Europe comprise thousands of therapists, each organized in professional associations.

The question is: What are the benefits of wearing the QuintBox for 4 weeks?
The research question of the study was: Do healthy subjects experience changes in well-being and mood after just four weeks of using the QuintBox?
Two standardized questionnaires ( BDI , SF-36 ) served as evaluation instruments; both are widely used in relevant international studies and their results are generally accepted in the scientific community. Data were collected before and after the study and statistically analyzed.
A surprisingly high baseline level of general well-being among the participants proved to be a potential obstacle. From this perspective, a further increase or improvement was unlikely.
The result: Increased vitality and performance
Nevertheless, and all the more impressive, the result: The QuintBox led to a significant increase in vitality (in the sense of feeling energized and full of vitality), psychological well-being, a reduction in depressive symptoms, and a marked improvement in so-called emotional role functioning. The latter describes the extent to which emotional problems impair work or daily activities.
In other words: QuintBox users are more efficient and productive!
The participants' subjective observations also point to an improved mood and greater composure or reduced irritability – all indications of a stress-reducing effect of the QuintBox.
This effect was only observed in users of the "real" QuintBoxes; it was not seen in those using the placebo devices or in the control group! This proves that the QuintBox can achieve a scientifically measurable effect that cannot be explained by a mere placebo effect!

Holopathy – a further development of bioresonance – is a form of so-called biophysical vibrational therapy. Its aim is to balance the body's energy system – what the Chinese called "Chi" – through biophysical testing and subsequent application of low-energy electromagnetic substance spectra, thereby releasing blockages and strengthening the body's self-healing powers. Although convincing successes have been achieved in practice with holopathy since 1994 across a wide range of applications, and extensive positive testimonials exist, it is – like all regulatory medicine procedures (eg, acupuncture, homeopathy, bioresonance, kinesiology, osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, etc.) – not currently recognized by the scientific community. The QuintStation is not intended for medical diagnoses and therapies and therefore cannot replace them.
