Holopathy is based on energy
medicine principles.
What is energy medicine?
Energy medicine is a form of diagnosis and therapy based on the hypothesis that the body is controlled not only by biochemical processes but also by biophysical processes, which are generally referred to in traditional medicine as (life) energy (the "Chi" of the Chinese).
Energy medicine assumes that this energy obeys certain laws (the principles of classical acupuncture), that changes in Chi are detectable and can indicate imbalances, and finally, that targeted therapy of these energy shifts can improve or eliminate the associated physical or mental disorders.
Although there are millennia of medical experience with the human regulatory or energy system (eg, from acupuncture), conventional medicine considers the existence of such a system unproven. From a conventional medical perspective, all successes of energy medicine methods are attributed solely to the placebo effect and/or the consequences of an unconsciously positive doctor-patient relationship. Therefore, conventional medicine does not recognize any of these methods, such as acupuncture, homeopathy, electroacupuncture, or holopathy.
Areas of energy medicine
The most important areas of energy medicine are:
Classical acupuncture
Acupuncture massage, Shiatsu, Reiki, Bowen and related methods
homeopathy
Electroacupuncture according to Voll
Bioresonance
Kinesiology
The various disciplines of energy medicine in Germany and Europe comprise thousands of therapists, each organized in professional associations.

The scientific significance of energy medicine
Currently, there are no undisputed clinical studies on the human energy system. However, in recent years, an increasing number of scientists worldwide have been engaged in basic research into possible mechanisms of action and models of energy medicine processes. This has led to a growing body of specialist literature and publications.
In June 2005, the US National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) declared energy medicine the fifth major area within complementary medicine.
Current research suggests, among other things, the following findings:
The human body possesses an energy system, which is represented, among other things, by the acupuncture meridians.
The energy system reacts to electromagnetic influences of extremely low intensity and can thereby trigger physiological regulatory mechanisms.
The energy system can react differently to different electromagnetic frequency patterns.
This reaction can be used, among other things, to identify imbalances in the energy system (referred to as energetic analysis in holopathy) as well as to correct imbalances (referred to as energetic therapy in holopathy).
It is fundamentally possible to transfer electromagnetic frequency patterns onto carrier substances (liquids and solids) and thereby change their energetic quality.
The system and devices of holopathy are based on these assumptions.
The transmission of low-energy electromagnetic frequency patterns for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes is also known as information medicine. "Energy medicine" and "information medicine" therefore refer to the same thing – namely, a form of therapy in which the body's regulatory system is treated using weak electromagnetic frequency patterns.
Therefore, the terms energy medicine and information medicine are often used synonymously.
In holopathy, what exactly do we mean by "energetic analysis and therapy"?
As previously described, holopathy is based on the assumption that the body's energy system can be influenced by specific electromagnetic information—particularly by the vibrational spectra of substances.
It is an undisputed scientific fact that every substance constantly emits so-called thermal noise. According to the principles of energy medicine, this noise also contains substance-specific information to which the body's energy system reacts.
QuintSysteme has developed a method for digitally storing these substance-specific noise spectra in a computer database and delivering them to clients as needed.
For energetic analysis, various such substance spectra are tested on the client to determine if and how their energy system reacts. This process generates a list of substance spectra relevant to the individual client.
In energetic therapy, based on the analysis results, suitable spectra from the substance database are combined according to a specific system and delivered to the client. According to the principles of holopathy, this can positively influence disturbances in the energy system and activate the body's own self-healing powers.
Legal notice
Holopathy – a further development of bioresonance – is a form of so-called biophysical vibrational therapy. Its aim is to balance the body's energy system – what the Chinese called "Chi" – through biophysical testing and subsequent application of low-energy electromagnetic substance spectra, thereby releasing blockages and strengthening the body's self-healing powers. Although convincing successes have been achieved in practice with holopathy since 1994 across a wide range of applications, and extensive positive testimonials exist, it is – like all regulatory medicine procedures (eg, acupuncture, homeopathy, bioresonance, kinesiology, osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, etc.) – not currently recognized by the scientific community. The QuintStation is not intended for medical diagnoses and therapies and therefore cannot replace them.
